Craft Gin Club is thrilled to welcome Skylark Distillery, based on the beautiful Boconnoc Estate in Cornwall, to the Family of Distillers.
Skylark Distiller's Lantic Morva Gin, a special edition crafted exclusively for Craft Gin Club members, was August's beautiful Gin of the Month.
Lantic Morva Gin was developed by Skylark Distillery's founder, Alex Palmer-Samborne, who developed a love for Cornish flora and fauna whilst growing up there as a child. He forages for local botanicals with the help of his dog, Bentley.
'Morva' is an old Cornish word meaning 'by the sea', and the expression is inspired by Alex's summer walks along coastal paths and through the meadows of Cornwall. The beautiful botanical blend includes magnolia flower, raspberry, meadowsweet and wild rose petal.
Peter Downes, Craft Gin Club's gin expert, says: "Alex has put together a wonderful Cornish expression for the summer season. I am so excited for Craft Gin Club members to enjoy this gin. it's full of flavours that transport you to the Cornish coast."
