Slingsby's rhubarb expression named Britain's favourite

Harrogate-based Slingsby's rhubarb expression has been named Britain's favourite rhubarb gin, according to an independent blind tasting.
The Spirit of Harrogate's signature expression, which forms the base of its rhubarb gin, was a Craft Gin Club Gin of the Month in November 2015.
This is far from the first gong for Slingsby Rhubarb Gin; the flavoured gin has won twenty-two awards including at the Gin Masters and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Marcus Black, co-founder of Slingsby Gin, says: "The taste test results really speak for themselves."
He continues: "Rhubharb gin is hugely popular with British drinkers, and therefore the competition is stiff, but we really pride ourselves on the combination of fruity rhubarb from right here in Yorkshire with a tangy citrus undertone which ensures the drink isn't too sweet."
