Here at Craft Gin Club, our New Product Development team has been hard at work creating fantastic new products to surprise and delight gin lovers across the UK -- and never more so than Christmas 2023.
The festive period saw us collaborate closely with our Family of Distillers to release a record number of new products, from advent calendars to festive liqueurs. But which proved most popular, and how will their performance steer our new product strategy in 2023? Here Nicola Oaten, head of New Product Development at Craft Gin Club, reflects on the festive season just gone and lays out the exciting ways we'll be looking to work with our Family of Distillers for Christmas 2023.
Craft Gin Club’s Advent Calendar
"It was year 3 of our extremely popular craft gin advent calendar, including a wonderful mix of 25 gins from our lovely Family of Distillers. The advent calender is always a favourite with our members and one we would love to refresh for next year!"
Festive Gin Liqueurs
"Last year we launched two festive gin liqueurs: Mulled Sloe and Christmas Pudding! We used the wonderful Orkney Kirkjuvagr Yuletide gin as a base. They sold out early which proved demand and we will be looking to build on this for this year, along with exploring other potential seasonal options."
Gifting for Every Budget
"We really expanded our gifting range last year with something for every budget, from letterbox cocktails to gin cocktail bundles in beautiful gift boxes . It was a great start and showed early signs of success, for this year its all about refining what really worked and resonated across the Christmas period and really maximising the opportunity in 2023!"
