Gin 1689 Competition Drives Shop Success
With a trip to Amsterdam up for grabs, our members stocked up on the Gin 1689 range.
Our April Family of Distillers campaign threw the spotlight on our October 2019 Gin of the Month. For one month only, any Craft Gin Clubber who bought a bottle of Gin 1689 - including both their signature edition and their beautiful pink gin - was entered to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Amsterdam. The campaign was timed to coincide with King's Day, a huge holiday across the Netherlands.
The wonderful weekend away included a distillery tour and local advice from the Gin 1689 team.
But what made this particular competition so exciting for Craft Gin's audience? Senior Community Manager Beccy Ward says, "It's been fantastic to see the love our members have for the gins we've sent in our boxes re-lived in a campaign like this! By offering Craft Gin Clubbers the chance to stock up on a previous Gin of the Month that they tried and loved or have been interested in trying and then be entered into a prize draw to win a money-can't-buy experience, it really is a win win (or should that be 'gin gin') for both our lovely members and Family of Distillers."
She continues: "We've seen great success with the Gin 1689 prize draw in that the prize has been extremely accessible and relevant to those with a gin and travel interest, plus it has been tailored to include a curated gin experience that will get gin lovers excited about entering. The terms of the prize are also really flexible, meaning that it's even more accessible for people to enter and get GIN-volved!"
